Current process: Complete each applicable requirement with its evidence, record customer acknowledgement and have a different authorised reviewer decide any exception before project completion.

Installable mobile field workflow

The Solar workspace can be installed as a scoped standalone app; an assigned, already-open session can retain a package, record structured evidence and reconcile foreground sync.

Current process: Install from the workspace, open the project online and review queued changes after reconnecting. A cold offline reload is not supported.

Equipment, serials, warranty dates and service cases stay with the customer site. The capability is in beta while monitoring connectors, stock control and richer warranty workflows remain future work.

Record modules, inverters, batteries, chargers, serial numbers, installation dates, warranty dates and monitoring references.

Linked service cases

Keep faults, maintenance, warranty work, owners, visits and resolutions beside the project and affected asset.

Questions

Before you start

Does this replace our solar design software?

No. Raq.com is the operations record around an approved design. It is not a specialist layout, shading, stringing or electrical design engine. Easy-PV project import is in beta and the OpenSolar API connector remains planned.

Can Raq.com decide whether a job is G98, G99 or G100?

No. It can suggest a route from recorded supply and inverter values, then organise the documents, questions and status. A competent person must confirm the route against current ENA and DNO requirements.

Does it certify an installation as MCS compliant?

No. The beta compliance engine pins the applicable standard version, tracks requirement ownership, evidence, review, exceptions, commissioning and the MID deadline. Certification and technical sign-off remain with authorised competent people.

Can installers use it on site without a signal?

Yes, within the stated beta boundary. An assigned installer can open a project online, store its encrypted job pack and keep working while that page remains open. Queued changes and resumable evidence uploads synchronise in the foreground after reconnecting. Offline page reload, an installable app shell and background sync are not available. Evidence files remain incomplete until the server confirms the upload and a person reviews the field record.

What can we import today?

Customer and project CSV files have a reviewed dry run. The Easy-PV Pro beta fetches projects and equipment on demand using an encrypted installer-team API key; approved performance and commercial figures still come from the source report. Other designs use the documented raq-solar-design-package/1.0 JSON format. OpenSolar API access, provider webhooks and bidirectional synchronisation are not available.

What is included in the price?

The early-access Solar Installer Workspace includes up to 25 internal users, unlimited customers and projects, the live core workspace, beta workflows and the governed REST and MCP interfaces. Planned capabilities are not presented as working features.
